Coalition announces 48-hour ceasefire in Yemen

RIYADH, Nov 19 (KUNA) -- The command of the Saudi-led coalition supporting legitimacy in Yemen announced a 48-hour ceasefire starting Saturday at 12 pm Yemen's time.
The ceasefire period will be extended if Houthi militias and their allies committed to this truce and allowed humanitarian aid to be delivered to besieged areas, particularly Taiz city, the coalition said in a press release.
They added that if Houthi militias executed any act of aggression, the coalition will immediately respond by military action. (end) yms.ag
