KUWAIT, Nov 1 (KUNA) -- Farwaniya Governor Sheikh Faisal Al-Humoud Al-Malek Al-Sabah and Governor of Sudan's White Nile state Abdul Hamid Musa discussed means of boosting ties on the economic front.
In a press release on Tuesday, Sheikh Faisal Al-Malek described bilateral ties with the friendly state as "strong and solid." He hoped to establish twin cities connection between Farwaniya and the White Nile state in the future.
On his part, Musa lauded the ongoing support of Kuwait to Sudan on many regional and international matters.
He extended an invitation to the Frawaniya Governor to visit Sudan in the foreseeable future.
The meeting was attended by Sudanese Ambassador to Kuwait Mohie Eddin Salem.
The White Nile State is one of the 18 states of Sudan. (end) amn.nfm
