Kuwaiti security unit to engage in GCC joint drill in Bahrain

KUWAIT, Oct 22 (KUNA) -- A Kuwaiti security unit has left for Bahrain to engage in a GCC joint security mobilization exercise, Ministry of Interior announced on Saturday.
The drill, dubbed "Arabian Gulf Security 1", is part of the implementation of the decisions of GCC Interior Ministers to face regional security challenges, the Ministry's security media department said in a press statement The exercise, which will take place next month, aims at raising the level of preparedness of the GCC security forces in the face of any emergencies, especially terrorist attacks.
