Coalition forces intercept 2 missiles from Yemen

JEDDAH, Oct 9 (KUNA) -- The air defense forces of the Saudi-led coalition supporting legitimacy in Yemen on Sunday intercepted two ballistic missiles fired by the Houthi militia.
The first missile was fired this midday from Sanaa towards Ma'rib city, central Yemen, and the second was fired earlier tonight from Sa'dah, north Yemen, into Ta'if city, west Saudi Arabia, according to a statement by the command of the coalition.
The two missiles were destroyed without resulting in any damage, while the coalition forces launched airstrikes against the sites from from where the missiled were fired. (end) nh.gb
