Demised Peres will be buried Friday

RAMALLAH, Sept 28 (KUNA) -- Former Israeli President Shimon Peres (93 years old) died early on Wednesday will be buried on Friday, Israel Radio said.
Peres, who will be buried at Mount Herzl cemetery, had passed away due to a major stroke with internal bleeding after undergoing treatment at hospital for two weeks.
World leaders are expected to arrive in Israel to attend Peres' funeral. Among the dignitaries expected to attend the funeral is US President Barack Obama, the radio said.
Peres served twice as prime minister and also as president, from 2007 to 2014.
He won Nobel Peace Prize jointly with the late Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat for his role in negotiating the peace Oslo Accords in 1994. (end) nq.mar
