Train crash leaves dozens of casualties N. Algeria

ALGIERS, Sept 24 (KUNA) -- At least one person was killed and 78 others injured, two seriously, when two trains collided head-on, some 50 km. to the east of Algiers on Saturday.
The slain is the driver of one of the two trains, Minister of Transport Boudjema Talai told reporters while inspecting the site of the accident in Boudouaou city, Boumerdes province.
Investigations started to determine the cause of the tragedy, he noted. (end) ft.gb
