MANAMA, Sept 13 (KUNA) -- Dean of Diplomatic Corps, Kuwait's Ambassador to Bahrain Sheikh Azzam Al-Sabah said on Tuesday that Bahrain always reiterates that it is a bright sign in the Gulf and the region at large that Kuwait is a leader of humanitarian work. The Ambassador's remarks came at the time the State of Kuwait celebrates the 2nd anniversary of the UN accolade of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah as a "Humanitarian Leader" and Kuwait as a "Humanitarian Center".
Al-Sabah added that naming Kuwait as a "Humanitarian Center" also adds to the numerous charitable and humanitarian work carried out by the GCC leaders and peoples, thus, making their history a bright sign since many years ago.
Moreover, Eid Al-Adha in Bahrain reflects the most splendid image of cohesion and compassion between the leader and his people, the Ambassador said following a reception with King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on this occasion.
Sheikh Azzam adedd that the Monarch is keen on sharing Bahrainis joy of the Eid, exchanging greetings of the occasion, according to an embassy statement.
Sheikh Azzam prayed for everlasting security and stability in Bahrain under the Kingdom's wise leadership.(end) mga.msa
