BRUSSELS, Sept 6 (KUNA) -- Nine Dutchmen have been added to the terrorism list in the Netherlands by Dutch Foreign Minister Bert Koenders, official media reported Tuesday.
The list now includes 61 people and three organizations, which assets have been frozen and are being hunted in relation to suspected activities in Syria and Iraq, according to TV NOS.
"For people who leave for Syria or Iraq, it will be ever more difficult to commit or finance acts of terror. We also want to prevent these people from returning to the Netherlands to commit violence," Koenders told NOS.
Friends and relatives of those on the list also face fines and imprisonment for funding terrorist activities, he added. (end)
