Turkish army bombs 25 terrorist targets N. Syria

ANKARA, Aug 31 (KUNA) -- Turkey's armed forces have bombed 25 terrorist targets in northern Syrian using 107 rockets, Turkish General Staff announced Wednesday.
The Turkish artillery has shelled terrorist positions in the Zavgar and Kulliyah villages of Jarabulus city, the General Staff said in a statement, adding that the forces hit the targets directly and successfully.
Turkish fighter jets also conducted an air raid in the same regions, destroying four shelters and killing an unspecified number of terrorists inside, the statement added.
Meanwhile, coalition warplanes conducted an air raid in Guzelmezra region and destroyed a vehicle belonging to the so-called Islamic State (IS), it said.
The statement also mentioned that the Free Syrian Army forces had cleared 32 villages and residential areas of terrorists, since the start of the Operation Euphrates Shield, allowing displaced residents to return to their homes. (end) rs.ma
