Kuwait's security chief, former Iraqi Pres. discuss common issues

KUWAIT, Aug 29 (KUNA) -- Chief of the National Security Bureau Sheikh Thamer Al-Ali Al- Sabah discussed with former Iraqi President Ghazi Ajil Al-Yawar on Monday, regional and international issues of mutual concern.
Sheikh Thamer Al-Ali asserted Kuwait's support for Iraq, primarily, on issues dealing with the fight against terrorism, as he wished Baghdad continued peace and stability, a statement by the National Security Bureau noted.
Moreover, the meeting also tackled bilateral ties and means of bolstering them. (end) jk.nam
