LONDON, Aug 26 (KUNA) -- The British police arrested five men in West Midlands county, central England, during an anti-terror campaign.
An army bomb disposal squad took part in the operation as a precaution, according to a statement by the Home Office on Friday.
The five suspects include two, aged 32 and 37, who were arrested in the Stoke neighborhood in Staffordshire city, and two men, 18 and 24 years, who were arrested in Birmingham.
On Wednesday a Royal Marine officer, identified as Ciaran Maxwell, 30 years, was arrested in connection with a suspected plot to carry out a terrorist attack in Northern Ireland. (end)
