Four people dead in IS attack on gas station west of Kirkuk

IRBIL, July 31 (KUNA) -- Two policemen and two civil workers were reportedly killed after four suicide bombers of the so-called Islamic State (IS) attacked a factory of gas canisters in Western Kirkuk Sunday morning.
A source from the Peshmerga told KUNA that the attack took place near Bajwan village on the main Kirkuk-Dubiz road in western Kirkuk.
One of the suicide attackers detonated his explosives and killed two policemen and two civil workers, while the other attackers managed to escape.
The frontline south and west of Kirkuk has experienced major confrontations between IS and Kurdish forces in the last two years.(end).
