TETOUAN, Morocco, July 30 (KUNA) -- Moroccan King Mohammad VI commended Saturday the strategic relations with the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.
King Mohammad VI, in an address marking the 17th anniversary of his ascension to the throne, said the Moroccan-GCC summit that was held last April in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, had strengthened the partnership between the two sides.
The summit, he added, "placed solid foundations of a unique Arab coalition." The last April summit, chaired by Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz and attended by GCC leaders, called for coordination of positions between Morocco and the Arab Gulf bloc against common threats that targetted their countries' security and stability.
