KRCS hands out clothes for Al-Adha Eid to displaced Iraqi families

IRBIL, July 25 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) has handed out clothes for Al-Adha Eid to some 500 Iraqi displaced families in Sulaymaniyah city in Kurdistan region, Iraq.
KRCS official Yousef Al-Miraj told KUNA Monday that this came under the guidance of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and in line with his humanitarian initiative in aiding Iraqi people.
Al-Miraj noted that Kuwait will continue offering all sorts of help and assistance needed to Iraqi displaced and refugees through charity organizations, and that the clothes for Eid program will be carried out in the rest of Kurdistan region.
KRCS handed out 5,000 food baskets to Iraqi displaced people last week, in addition of 15,000 food baskets before the holy month of Ramadan. (end) sbr.mys
