The fire site
KUWAIT, June 30 (KUNA) -- The death toll of a fire that broke out at a house in Farwaniya on Thursday has risen to at least nine people and 12 others were injured, said the Ministry of Health.
Six of the deaths occurred at the fire site and three others died while being transferred to hospitals, while 12 injured people were transferred to intensive care units in Farwaniya and Al-Sabah hospitals including two firemen taken to Mubarak Al-Kabeer hospital, Assistant Undersecretary for Support Medical Services at Ministry of Health Dr Jamal Al-Harbi told KUNA.
Earlier today the operating rooms at the administration received information on a fire at a house in Farwaniya and immediately sent 20 ambulances to the scene. (Pick up previous)
