Bahrain condemns Ataturk airport attack

MANAMA, June 29 (KUNA) -- Bahrain's King Hamad bin Issal Al-Khalifa condemned, on Wednesday, the attack on Ataturk International Airport in Istanbul, which left dozens dead and wounded.
In a cable, the Bahraini leader offered his condolences and sorrow to the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan over the terrorist and criminal act against innocent civilians.
The Bahraini King also offered his sympathy to the families of the victims and wished speedy recovery to the wounded.
On Tuesday night, three suicide bombers suspected of being members of the so-called Islamic State (IS) opened fire in Ataturk Airport before blowing themselves up, killing 41 of different nationalities and injuring 239 others. (end) mga.mb
