PARIS, June 28 (KUNA) -- The Arab League condemned Tuesday a series of bomb attacks in the Yemeni port town of Al-Mukalla, which resulted in killing dozens of soldiers, civilians, and many wounded.
The attacks were carried out by several suicide bombers targeting security and military stations.
A statement by Arab League Secretary General Nabil Al-Araby noted that such attacks aim at destabilizing security, bring terror to people, and attempt to disrupt progress in peace talks between parties involved, held currently in Kuwait.
The Arab League chief affirmed the huge joint efforts by Arab countries and the world in the fight against terrorism in all of its forms, and the importance of helping Yemen confront all obstacles to reach a settlement. (end) mfm.mb
