7 strikes in Syria, 23 in Iraq target IS - Coalition

WASHINGTON, June 27 (KUNA) -- Coalition military forces continued to attack the so-called Islamic State (IS), conducting seven strikes in Syria and 23 in Iraq, the Combined Joint Task Force announced.
In Syria, the coalition launched seven airstrikes targeting IS positions and units near Manbij, the force said in a press statement on Monday.
In Iraq, 23 airstrikes were carried out against IS militants and units near Al Baghdadi, Albu Hayat, Ar Rutbah, Hit, Mosul, Qayyarah, Ramadi, and Tal Afar, it said. (end) rm.mt
