PAM allows workers to change their work permits to get employment at coops

KUWAIT, June 23 (KUNA) -- Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) announced on Thursday it was coordinating with the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor to allow workers to change their work permits in order to get employment at cooperative socieities provided they did not violate the terms of their original employment in the first place.
Aseel Al-Maziyad, head of the authority's public relations department, said in a statement to KUNA that employment departments were receiving requests of workers to change the status of their work permit to qualify them to work at any cooperative society. (end) mz.hm
