Russian FM, UAE official discuss political coordination

MOSCOW, June 3 (KUNA) -- Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and President of the UAE Federal National Council Amal Al Qubaisi on Friday discussed means to boost foreign policy coordination.
"The sides exchanged opinions on issues of further development of the political dialogue, inter-parliamentary and humanitarian ties, mutually beneficial cooperation in the trade-and-economic sphere between the two friendly states," the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a press statement.
They confirmed their "commitment to further close foreign policy coordination on topical regional and international problems, on the settlement of the existing crises in the Middle East and Northern Africa by political and diplomatic means on the basis of a wide national dialogue and international law," the ministry said.
