GCC Secretary-General meets EU High Rep.

JEDDAH, May 30 (KUNA) -- GCC Secretary-General Dr. Abdullatif Al-Zayani met with EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Federica Mogherini in Jeddah on Monday.
During the meeting, they discussed developments in the area and also GCC-EU cooperation in all fields and ways to develop and enhance this relation, said GCC General-Secretariat in a statement.
The GCC and the European Union have been engaged in negotiations on a free trade agreement.
The meeting was attended by the Assistant Secretary-General for political affairs of the GCC Dr. Abdulaziz Hamad Al-Owaisheq. (end) nh.mys
