Yemeni gov't confirms Al-Qaeda in country near their end

RIYADH, May 16 (KUNA) -- The Yemeni legitimate government confirmed on Monday that Al-Qaeda organization in Yemen and their coalition are near their last breath.
In a statement quoted by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Yemeni government said that recent terror operations which targeted innocent civilians reflected on Al-Qaeda's desperate measures.
The Yemeni government noted such desperation was the result of constant bombardment to them in Hadaramot province and other areas.
The statement came a day after a suicide bomber targeted Yemeni trainees who were listed for police force. The attack killed 20 people and injured 60 others. (end) od.mb
