US concerned over continued hostilities in Syria

WASHINGTON, May 5 (KUNA) -- The United States voiced its concern Thursday over continued breaches of cessation of hostilities agreement in Syria.
"We continue to be concerned about some violations even in that area (Aleppo) and other places of the country where we don't see a hasty commitment to the cessation of hostility," White House Spokesperson Josh Earnest told reporters.
The White House urged all Syrian parties to commit to the agreement in order allow the delivery of humanitarian aid to civilians stranded in conflict-stricken areas and cities in and around Syria, particularly Aleppo's residents who are in desperate need for help and assistance. (end) yt.ma
