Interior Ministry: Sirens to be tested on Tuesday

KUWAIT, May 1 (KUNA) -- Sirens will be tested out in the country at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday by the civil defence department.
The sirens will be blasted in three different tones (intermittent, wavy and continuous) that will last one minute each, followed by a voice explanation for each code, the Ministry of Interior's security media department said in a press statement Sunday.
E-messages on highways will also be displayed 24-hour prior to operating the sirens, it added. (end) hmd.nfm
