ALGIERS, April 29 (KUNA) -- Algerian authorities have announced that five "terrorists" belonging to Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb were killed in two separate operations, east of Algeria.
Defense Ministry said in a statement on Friday that the army killed three "terrorists" in Kerkera town in Skikda Province in northeastern Algeria.
The army killed also two other "terrorists" in Ouled Aissa town in Boumerdes province, and seized grenades and weapons, the statement added. (end)
