KUWAIT, April 26 (KUNA) -- Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Sheikh Mohammad Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah underlined Tuesday His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah's sponsorship of 1,000 Projects Exhibition embodies the Amir's keenness to increase youth's contributions to national economy.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the fourth edition of the exhibition, Sheikh Mohammad expressed his pleasure by the progress made since the launching of the first edition.
He boasted the steadily growth of participants.
This growing participation shows that Kuwaiti youth have changed their concept about working in the private sector and launching their own businesses, he said.
He added that the remarkable event proves that caring for youth tops the agenda of state officials and institutions.
The government spares no effort and employs all potential to provide youth with all their needs to develop and progress in various domains, he said.
Sheikh Mohammad noted that the future would be for youth have the desire to have their own enterprises.
He urged Kuwaiti youth to set their future plans and goals and to specialize in certain domains that match their inclinations and skills and to take the initiative and join private sector to pave the way for creativity and innovation.
He expressed delight after touring the expo and meeting the participating youth who opted to have their own businesses.
He pointed out that the event encourages Kuwaiti youth to develop their skills and make the best use of the experience of their peers to create their own businesses.
On Saudi Deputy Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman's announcement of the Saudi Kingdom's vision of 2030 Tuesday, Sheikh Mohammad said that the vision reflected farsightedness that indicates a safe and prosperous future for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its people.
He hailed this comprehensive vision as involving all sectors and institutions and embodying genuine participation between the State and people as well as relying on human development as the basis for building a new promising future and sustainable development.
He noted that His Highness the Amir unveiled several years ago the state's 2030 vision to turn Kuwait into a commercial and economic hub.
He wished Saudi Arabia continuing progress, prosperity and stability under its wise leadership. (end) mtt.ibi
