Kuwait, Hungary initiate cooperation in economic, commercial, technical domains

KUWAIT, April 23 (KUNA) -- Chair of the Arab Businesswomen Council and head of the Kuwaiti Union for Women Professions Sheikha Dr. Hessa Saad Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah announced on Saturday joint cooperation for the development of economic, commercial, technical and educational relations between Kuwait and Hungary.
Sheikha Hessa said in a press release today that there are scheduled projects that will be announced after the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Hungarian Businesswomen Union and the Kuwaiti Union for Women Professions.
Sheikha Hessa thanked all ministries and state bodies for their hospitality and good reception of the visiting delegation, led by Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Hind Al-Sabeeh for her interaction with the visiting delegation.
She also thanked the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Central Bank and Shooting Club.
She said that during the delegation's visit, an MoU would be signed on educational cooperation giving the Kuwaiti students a chance to pursue their education in Hungary.
She added that both sides would also look into prospects of cooperation in the economic, commercial and technical areas.
Sheikha Hessa expressed pride in the Kuwaiti women who have been able to prove their success in the field of trade and business, noting that any economic or commercial evolution would not be possible without the participation of women.
She promised that a joint venture between Kuwait and Hungary would see the light soon to strengthen trade, economic, social and educational relations away from politics.
She also announced an agreement to develop imports between the two countries under the joint collaboration between the two unions.(end).
