UN launch Libya stability prog.

TUNIS, April 12 (KUNA) -- UN mission in Libya said Tuesday it launched a program aimed at achieving stability in the country via backing the government of national consensus.
The Tunis-based mission said in a statement the program was part of initiatives to supporting the Libyan government in collaboration with the UN Development Program (UNDP) and the international community.
It said Germany pledged 10 million euros over two years, the US pledged USD two million, Italy two million euros and Britain USD billion, while Qatar pledged USD two million. All pledges aim at supporting the political process and the government.
This program, said the mission, would finance infrastructure projects, repairing clinics, hospitals, police stations, water and power stations, and sewage networks. (end) ksj.bs
