Suicide attack near Indian consulate in Afghanistan wounds 6 people

ISLAMABAD, March 2 (KUNA) -- At least six people were wounded in a suicide bombing followed by gunshots in Jalalabad, the capital of Afghanistan's eastern Nangarhar province, on Wednesday.
The spokesman for provincial governor, Attaullah Khogyani said that the bombing took place near the Indian Consulate and the gunshots are still ringing.
Public Health Director, Najibullah Kamawal confirmed that six wounded people had been evacuated to the hospital from the site. (end) sbk.gta
