Jordanian forces kill 7 extremists, end operations in Irbid

AMMAN, March 2 (KUNA) -- The Jordanian forces killed seven extremists during security operations in the city of Irbid, said a news source Wednesday Two Jordanian citizens, who happened to be in the area of operations, were injured and a security personnel was killed in the northern Jordanian city, Jordan News Agency (PETRA) said.
Deadly clashes erupted on Tuesday between Jordanian security forces and extremists in the northern Jordanian city. The force had raided a number of locations to apprehend suspected extremists, leading to the clashes. (end) mjb.ss
