GCC declares Hezbollah terrorist org.

RIYADH, March 2 (KUNA) -- The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Wednesday declared the Lebanese Hezbollah a "terrorist" group, including all of its affiliate bodies.
"The GCC countries adopted this decision due to hostile acts carried out by the elements of this militia, who were recruiting youths of the GCC countries to carry out terrorist acts, smuggling of arms and explosives, inciting sedition and provoking chaos and violence in a blatant violation of their (GCC states') sovereignty, security and independence," GCC Secretary General Abdullatif Al-Zayani said in a statement.
The practices of Hezbollah in Syria, Yemen and Iraq are contradicting with human and moral values and principles, and the international law," said Al-Zayani.
These practices, which also threaten Arab national security, resulted in the GCC's decision to consider Hezbollah a "terrorist group," he said. (end) yms.bs
