RAMALLAH, March 1 (KUNA) -- Radical rabbi Yehuda Glick and a group of extremist Jewish settlers on Tuesday stormed Al-Aqsa compound.
Eyewitnesses said that the group entered the mosque through Al-Magharbeh Gate and provocatively toured the yard under protection of the Israeli police and army.
Muslim worshippers in the mosque confronted the settlers.
Glick has called for pulling down Al-Aqsa, and was wounded last year when a Palestinian young man, Moataz Hejazi, shot him.
Hejazi was soon killed by the Israeli troops on the roof of his house. (end)
