Syrian government accepts cessation of fighting except on IS, Nusra

AMMAN, Feb 23 (KUNA) -- The Syrian government on Tuesday announced accepting the cessation of fighting actions, except against the so-called Islamic State (IS), Al-Nusra Front and other terrorist groups in accordance with the Russian-US statement.
The government is willing to cooperate with Russia to thoroughly specify the locations of these terrorist groups for further military action, the Syrian News Agency (SANA) quoted the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates as saying. (end) tk.am.ag
