KRCS continues delivering aid to Syrian refugees in Lebanon
ZAHLA, Eastern Lebanon, Feb 22 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) said on Monday that they are continuing their humanitarian mission in providing urgent aid for Syrian Refugees in Lebanon.
Food parcels and cleaning detergents were distributed to around 350 displaced Syrian families and now are residing in four refugee camps, located in Al-Dulaihmia town, Zahla, Head of the Social Committee in the KRCS Fawzia Al-Nassar said.
The humanitarian relief materials are enough for five members in each family, and will last for two weeks, a move to ease their current suffering.
For his part, KRCS' envoy in Lebanon Dr. Musa'ad Al-Enezi emphasized keenness of the Kuwaiti political leadership and people to offer humanitarian aid to Syrian refugees who are suffering from tough living conditions.
Meanwhile, KRCS has never been hesitant to continue delivering humanitarian aid to the Syrian refugees who have been undergoing this crisis for more than four years, relief operations coordinator in the Lebanese Red Cross Yousef Butrus said. (end) mah.mb
