His Highness the PM inspects northern oil fields following fire

KUWAIT, Feb 17 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah paid a visit on Wednesday to the northern oil fields where he inspected progress of work there following the fire at a crude oil driller last night.
His Highness the Premier listened to a briefing from the KOC's officials on the reasons behind the fire and the measures taken to contain it.
He hailed efforts of the company's employees and firemen which contributed to the speedy extinguishing of the fire.
His Highness was accompanied by First Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Deputy Premier and Defense Minister Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah, Minister of Information and State Minister for Youth Affairs Sheikh Salman Sabah Al-Salem Al-Al-Humoud Al-Sabah, State Minister for Cabinet Affairs and acting Minister of Electricity and Water Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah.
