Al-Daihani reiterates significance of joint Kuwaiti-Egyptian cmte. meeting

CAIRO, Feb 14 (KUNA) -- Assistant Foreign Minister of Kuwait for Arab world Ambassador Aziz Al-Daihani reiterated here on Sunday the importance of the 11th preparatory meetings of the Joint supreme Kuwaiti-Egyptian Committee.
Al-Daihani said in a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the joint meetings by representatives of the Kuwaiti and Egyptian governmental entities reflect the strength and durability of the good relations between the two countries and the serious desire of all parties to realize the aspirations and vision of both countries' leaderships for the best interest of both peoples.
He explained that the Joint Committee has continuously been holding its meetings since 1998, pointing out that the agreements and memoranda of understanding between the two countries exceeded 85.
آ آ آ He expressed hope to reach a definitive picture on the number of agreements that focus on investment and economic aspects as well as other agreements relating to the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development and other Kuwaiti cultural fields.
آ آ He pointed out that preparatory meetings will be completed tomorrow to finalize the agreements and will be followed by a meeting on Tuesday of the foreign ministers of the two countries and then the signing of memoranda of understanding and agreements, and the minutes of the current 11th Committee meeting.(end).
