Turkey, Qatar leaders discuss Syria

ISTANBUL, Feb 12 (KUNA) -- The Syrian conflict was the main focus of talks between Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Qatari Amir Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani on Friday.
According to Anadolu Agency, both leaders discussed military cooperation in the fight against terrorism in Syria.
This is Sheikh Tamim's fourth visit to Turkey within a year, following three visits in 2015.
Furthermore, strategic and military issues related to the Syrian crisis such as the Islamic military alliance, in which 34 nations, including Turkey and Qatar, agreed to in mid-December 2015 were discussed, in addition to bilateral relations. (end) ta.hb
