WASHINGTON, Feb 11 (KUNA) -- A prison riot in a northeastern Mexican state left 52 people dead and dozen others injured, officials announced Thursday.
A riot began when a fight broke out between two opposing groups inside Topo Chico prison that killed 52 and injured a dozen more than half of them in critical conditions, Governor of the state of Nuevo Leon Jaime Rodriguez told reporters. (end)
