Israel to surround all border territories with security fences - Netanyahu

GAZA, Feb 9 (KUNA) -- Israeli Premier Benjamin Netanyahu announced Tuesday his government is planning to surround all Israeli territories with security fences coming years, in addition to sealing off all gaps in security fence surrounding the West Bank.
The main target of building security fences is to protect Israel from the "beasts" in the Middle East region, Netanyahu stated while touring the security fence area along the Jordanian borders, according to Israeli radio.
He also mentioned that it will cost billions of shekels to complete the project, noting that Israel looks forward to normalizing ties with all neighboring countries. (end) wab.ma
