Israeli female stabbed, injured S. Palestine - media

RAMALLAH, West Bank, Feb 6 (KUNA) -- An Israeli female was injured after she was stabbed in the Negev, southern Palestine, on Saturday, the Israeli media reported.
The woman sustained medium to serious wounds in her neck, the media added but did not disclose identity of the female.
They said the Israeli police were searching for the attacker, who escaped after committing the act.
On the other hand, Israeli army forces shot and injured five Palestinians who were taking part in a peaceful demonstration in the West Bank today.
The Israeli forces fired live bullets at the demonstrators, who began the march from the West Bank city of Jenin demanding an end of the Israeli siege on the town of Qabatiya, injuring five of them, the Palestinian Red Crescent said in a statement.
Qabatiya has been under an Israeli siege for three days after three of its locals killed an Israeli female soldier and injuring another in occupied Jerusalem.
The three Palestinians were killed, and were later buried by the Palestinians.

The Israeli occupation forces later lifted the siege on the town of Qabatiya, near the West Bank city of Jenin, eyewitnesses told KUNA.
They told KUNA the Israeli forces withdrew from the town.
