LONDON, Feb 4 (KUNA) -- First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah headed on Thursday a session on humanitarian situation in Syria held during the London's "Supporting Syria and the Region" Conference.
Participants in the session, which was attended by UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, discussed all humanitarian issues and topics facing the Syrian people inside and outside the country.
During the session, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled lauded contributions of countries and efforts of international non-government organizations aiming to alleviate suffering of millions of Syrians.
The session was attended by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance and Acting Minister of Oil Anas Al-Saleh, Deputy Foreign Minister Ambassador Khaled Suleiman Al-Jarallah, Kuwait's Ambassador to Britain Ambassador Khaled Al-Duwaisan, Director of the Foreign Minister's Office Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah, Kuwait's permanent delegate to the UN office in Geneva Ambassador Jamal Al-Ghuneim, Kuwait's permanent delegate to the UN office in New York Ambassador Mansour Ayyad Al-Otaibi and a number of senior officials at the ministry.
