RAMALLAH, Feb 1 (KUNA) -- Israeli occupation foreces killed early Monday a Palestinian youngster near Tulkarem city north of the West Bank.
The man was identified by Palestinian Health Ministry as Ahmad Hassan Tobah, 19, From Kafr Jammal town in the Tulkarm Governorate in the western edge of the West Bank.
Israeli media claimed that Tobah was carrying a knife when he crossed the separation Barrier near the West Bank's settlement of Sal'it on Monday morning.
They added that the Palestinian youth attempted to carry out a stabbing attack against Israeli security forces.
The attacker then attempted to stab the soldiers, but was shot and killed on site. There were no injuries on the Israeli side. (end)
