BEIRUT, Jan 22 (KUNA) -- Chairman of Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) Dr. Hilal Al-Sayer emphasized the important role of media to convey, to the world, Kuwait's approach and methodology to humanitarianism. Media is a key player in highlighting humanitarian work done by Kuwait, under the leadership of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Al-Sayer said in a press statement on Friday.
He added media outlets are an essential partner that shed light on philanthropic work carried out not only by KRCS but also other organizations.
Earlier this month, KRCS celebrated its 50th anniversary by launching a photography exhibition that displayed pictures covering years of activities since its establishment in 1966. The exhibition was an effort of publicizing KRCS' illustrious works and underscoring Kuwait's firm commitment to humanitarian causes.
