Lebanon's Premier meets KFAED delegation

BEIRUT, Jan 13 (KUNA) -- Lebanon's Prime Minister Tammam Salam received a delegation from Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED), on Wednesday, to discuss social and developmental projects in Lebanon.
Chairman of KFAED Abdulwahab Al-Bader told KUNA that the meeting also tacked a grant agreement that was recently signed between the two parties to help Lebanon easing off some of the responsibility it shoulders as a host country for Syrian refugees.
The grant, worth of USD 30 million, is part of Kuwait's commitment in a pledge it made during the third donors' conference in support for the Syrians, which was held in Kuwait last year. The grant aims at improving public services: health, education, social affairs, water supplies and waste management. (end) mha.nfm
