Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Sheikh Salman Sabah Salem Al-Humoud Al-Sabah meets with Martyrs Bureau Chief Fatema Al-Amir
KUWAIT, Jan 5 (KUNA) -- Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Sheikh Salman Sabah Salem Al-Humoud Al-Sabah met on Tuesday with Assistant Undersecretary of the Amiri Diwan and Martyrs Bureau Chief Fatema Al-Amir to discuss planned activities marking national festivals.
During the meeting, Sheikh Salman, who doubles as chairman of the organizing committee of national festivals, hailed the national role played by the bureau and its staff to remember the martyrs of Kuwait and their heroic deeds, the Ministry of Information said in a press statement.
He added that the Martyrs Bureau's participation in planned national festivals embodies the real meaning of loyalty and belonging to the nation and the wise political leadership. (end)
