Ma'rib province liberated from Houthi militias - Yemen's General Staff

RIYADH, Jan 4 (KUNA) -- Yemeni General Staff has announced on Monday the liberation of Ma'rib governorate from the coup militias, as progress on a number of fronts has been achieved, Yemen's Chief of General Staff Maj. Gen. Muhammad Ali Al-Maqdashi said.
Victory has been achieved on all of the fighting fronts against the coup militias especially in Nahem area in Sana'a governorate, Serwah and Huraib in Ma'rib, and Behan in Shabwah, Al-Maqdashi was quoted as saying by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) during his meeting with a number of military and security leaders in Ma'rib last night.
He called on the governmental forces and the popular resistance loyal to the legitimacy to work as a one team to liberate the capital Sana'a from Houthi militias and Ali Abduallah Saleh's coup militias.
He also stressed the importance of restoring normal daily routine to the liberated regions within the governorates of Ma'rib and Al-Jawf.(end) yms.lb
