GAZA, Dec 25 (KUNA) -- Israeli army shot dead a Palestinian man and wounded several others during demonstrations erupted after Friday prayers in separate areas in the eastern border of the Gaza Strip, medical sources announced.
Hani Rafiq Wahdan, 22, was killed by Israeli forces near Al-Shuja'iya neighborhood east of Gaza, Ashraf Al-Qudra, spokesman for Ministry of Health in Gaza said in a statement.
At least 28 people were injured by live bullets during clashes between Palestinians and Israeli forces in eastern Al-Buraij refugee camp and other areas in eastern Gaza, he added, noting that injured were taken to hospitals of the Strip.
Several Palestinian people protest every Friday in eastern and northern borders of the Strip against Israel's policy of the executions and the desecration of Islamic sanctities. (pickup previous)
