Bill Gates arrives in Kuwait Monday

KUWAIT, Dec 6 (KUNA) -- Microsoft founder and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation Co-Chairman Bill Gates arrives here Monday at the invitation of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
His Highness the Amir will decorate Gates with the Informatics Medal, "The 15th Round of Sheikh Salem Alآ­Ali Alآ­Sabah Informatics Award." Gates will attend a ceremony for honoring winners of the award of His Highness Sheikh Salem Al-Ali, who is also Chief of the National Guard.
The eminent guest will attend a meeting grouping trustees of Abdul Rahman Hamoud Al Sumait Award. He will also meet a delegation of Kuwait businessmen, representatives of charitable societies here as well as a number of Kuwaiti Youths. (end) ha
