BAGHDAD, Nov 30 (KUNA) -- The joint military command announced Monday that the Iraqi government forces have managed to restore control of Al-Hasibah in eastern of Ramadi city from the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) control.
In a press statement, the joint command said that the Iraqi forces have completed recapturing of Al-Hasibah. It added that five ISIL militants were killed and over 11 explosives devices were blown off in the operations.
The bomb disposal units are inspecting the liberate area to defuse and exploded mines and bombs planted by ISIL, it said.
Moreover, the Iraqi military fighters dropped circulars on the nearby ISIL-controlled areas asking them to leave the areas soon. (end)
