KUWAIT, Nov 16 (KUNA) -- Al-Shaheed (the martyr) public park deserves to be called the number-one environmental contestant in Al-Assima, the capital, being a green oasis amid skyscrapers, a breathing space for the city dwellers.
Situated in al-Sharq district, the park encompasses large green spots, resting places, fountains and colored lights. The garden has been renovated with trees that grow in hot weather. The Kuwait Constitution titanium memorial site has been erected in the park, particularly to celebrate its 50th anniversary. (end) sk.tb.rk
